Flater, age 89, of Minocqua, passed away on Wednesday, Januat Howard Young. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Glenn Babler in 2014. Bev enjoyed spending time and sharing a “few” beers and Old Fashions with friends at Ala Roma and celebrating Halloween dressing up as “Minnie Pearl”. Bev worked in the service area her entire life, as a teenage bookkeeper at her father’s Kroger Store in Oshkosh, co-owner of Village Grocery in Van Dyne, also worked at Lauer’s Food Mart in Fond Du Lac, and Wendt’s Bar in Van Dyne. It is a bittersweet reminder of all we've lost, but it can also help us to remember all we enjoyed while they were alive.
